Living History Rides
Fall through early Summer in Mesa, Arizona
The Living History Rides listed below occur mostly out of our museum in Mesa, Arizona. We also offer rides at air shows in the Southwest Region from the Fall through Spring.
ON SUMMER BREAK. We will be offering early morning “Dawn Patrol” flights on two of our warbirds – the SNJ T-6 Texan and the N2S-3 Stearman in the Fall. (If you’d like to be one of the first to hear about it, please fill out the form below and mention “Dawn Patrol.”) The SNJ was named “the pilot maker” by its crews, and was a trainer aircraft with all the characteristics of a high-speed fighter with more maneuverability and easier handling. The Stearman is an open-cockpit bi-plane and was also used as a trainer for the majority of pilots in WWII. (Note: both of these airplanes require passengers to have a certain degree of mobility in order to fly – a passenger must be able to climb on a wing, lift a leg over the side of the cockpit, and lower him/herself in.)
Want to be one of the first to learn about new flights posted? Fill out the form below and we’ll add you to our email list.
Your warbird is waiting! There are only a few seats on each plane, and these rides are only available for a limited time. Book your trip before these time-honored planes are retired. Questions? Call 480-462-2992 or email us at email@example.com
