In the spring of 1942, the famous Ford Motor Company Willow Run plant put out a flyer titled, “Willow Run, The Largest Bomber Plant in the World”. Located in the Detroit area, “NEEDS MEN AND WOMEN”. Join us as we pay special tribute to veterans. We'll have a 10:55 a.m. call for service with bells for peace. This commemorates the WWI Armistice, when the guns fell silent on Nov. 11, 1918. All visitors to the museum are invited to participate in the Bells of Peace Ceremony, which will take place at 11 a.m. At 11:01 a.m., we'll have a reading of "The Young Dead Soldiers Do Not Speak."
