D-Day Invasion Memorial T-Shirt
A retro WW II T-shirt that commemorates the invasion of Normandy in olive green with black and white invasion stripes.
Proudly wear this retro t-shirt to honor those who sacrificed so much during World War II at the Battle of Normandy. This historic turning point resulted in the Allies liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany’s control. The battle began on June 6, 1944, also known as D-Day, when some 156,000 American, British and Canadian forces landed on five beaches along a 50-mile stretch of the heavily fortified coast of France’s Normandy region. The Normandy landings have been called the beginning of the end of the war in Europe.
This handsome olive green t-shirt has a retro look and weathered black and white Invasion stripes and a depiction of a soldier parachuting from a warbird onto the beach. Invasion stripes were alternating black and white bands painted on the fuselages and wings of the aircraft for the purpose of increasing recognition by friendly forces during and after the Normandy landings. This is an exclusive to the Arizona Commemorative Air Force with our name printed on the left sleeve.
