Speaker Series – Rosie the riveter – with four WWII Rosies

In the spring of 1942, the famous Ford Motor Company Willow Run plant put out a flyer titled, “Willow Run, The Largest Bomber Plant in the World”. Located in the Detroit area, “NEEDS MEN AND WOMEN”.
Come and meet four WWII Rosie the Riveters who answered the call to help win the war here on the home front. They will share their stories as “buckers” and how the nation was transformed into our awesome – “Arsenal of Democracy”!
