The goal of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and the Arizona Wing is to honor the American military aviators and ground crews that have defended our country since WWI, and to recognize the men and women of the American defense industry who designed and produced the hardware so vitally needed to lead us to victory. Like the CAF, to accomplish this goal the Arizona Wing is dedicated to preserving and flying several World War II aircraft and operating a museum that is a memorial to the brave military personnel who have given so much throughout all of our conflicts. The Arizona Wing is operated by member volunteers who are dedicated to keeping the aircraft flying and educating this and future generations of our rich military aviation heritage.
The museum conducts a new volunteer/member orientation on the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m.? Come and learn about us and the volunteer opportunities available. Aviation experience is not required and we always have tasks that need to be done ranging from aircraft maintenance to administrative activities. To attend, please contact the Personnel Officer at personnel@azcaf.org or the Adjutant Officer at adjutant@azcaf.org and provide your name and telephone number. You may also call the museum at 480-268-2144.
